Watch out for Large Patch!

Hi, I'm Robbie. An Expert inlawns and landscape.

As our summer transitions to fall, we often see an outbreak of Large patch disease in Centipede, St. Augustine, and Zoysia lawns in our area. This is a soil disease, that can become active during the cool, moist conditions in fall.

The disease favors low-lying areas, sections of lawns with poor drainage,  and lawns that may be over-irrigated. Large Patch has the potential to remain active and cause serious, irreversible lawn damage based on future weather conditions.

If you see circular, brown areas developing in your lawn like the pictures above, please call our office. We have treatments & preventives that will help stop the disease during the late summer/fall months!
